Solutions Engineer - NetApp

ROLE: To manage new and incremental infrastructure environments for storage solutions and provide satisfaction to customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform day-to-day administration tasks of the NetApp storage environment
  • Maintain technical background around Windows and Linux
  • Provide management status reports on the customers' project status



REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
  • 1+ years of experience in SAN / NAS administration with focus on Netapp (Network Appliance) storage appliances
  • 1+ years experience with NetApp storage (NetApp FAS/V-Series)
  • 1+ years hands on experience with Network Appliance software products including Operations Manager, Provisioning Manager, Data ONTAP, DSM
  • Experience with NetApp products SnapMirror, Protection Manager, FlexClone, Snap Manager, SnapVault and SnapRestore a plus
  • Data Migration experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of following Operating Systems: Linux, Windows 7 / Vista / XP
  • General knowledge of local area network (LAN), WAN, Fiber Optic Fabric, TCP/IP protocol, internet connectivity
  • Strong communication skills
